Starting a Profitable Business: Learning to Persevere Through Ups and Downs
“A Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with a Single Step” -Lao Tzu
I can recall the very first time i heard the above quote, and it helped me to start seeing life in a new light. As far back as I can recall I have always been a big picture thinker. I could plan a project from start to finish, but I would soon become overwhelmed with the tasks at hand. That lead me to becoming the worst type of procrastinator, but that came with a huge price tag of elevated stress and many sleepless nights.
Fast forward many years later, and I now understand the power of being able to map the entire journey while being willing to take the first step without hesitation. My assumption is you’re reading this post because you want to start a business but you’re struggling to take that vital first step. Continue reading to be better prepared to take that leap or rather that step of faith in this case!
Believe it or not you have probably already taken the first step on your journey of business ownership, but what you need now is encouragement or guidance to continuing taking steps. Usually the first step we taking after having the thought, “I want to start a business” is using Google to search, “How to start a business.” Unfortunately, many aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners let their dreams die after taking their first step. Now I’m here to give you encouragement to continue taking steps because a journey doesn’t end in one step you have to keep steeping. I will argue that the second step is more vital than the first step because the first step says, “I’m starting this journey,” and the second step says, “I’m on this journey.”
Congrats for taking that first step because that’s a huge deal! If you’re feeling stuck or feel like you’re walking in circles please don’t hesitate to reach out to us to help being a guiding light.
